Magic Mushroom Hour with Omega Nice Early Rock for your Pleasure Episode 2303
An excellent night of Great music with compositions from all kinds of Genres and Musicians for your and my pleasure. It has been my desire to start a show with Merman by Jimi Hendrix for a long time, well we did it. Followed by the first of several songs by an early electric Steve Miller, the Beatles, She’s Leaving Home, the first of several Doors and Jim Morrison songs, People are Strange, Canned Heat, On the Road Again, some Trex off Electric Warrior, more Steve Miller, Mercury, on to LA Woman another Jim Morrison tune, a nice cut of Janis Joplin with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Greg Lake with ELP’s From the Beginning. Sorry, I can’t help but play Greg Lake singing! Steven Stills, So It Begins, Rory Gallagher and Jack Bruce making some fine music, Crazy Gnarls Barkley, Everybody Has Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey, a nice John Lennon tune, on to some more Jimi singing Little Miss Strange, Mott the Hoople, All the Way, a long cut from Can’t Buy a Thrill, Joni Mitchell with a tune off Court and Spark, Greg Allman, She no Angel, Traveler in Time, Uriah Heap, a couple of cuts from the Smithereens, Little Green Bag from Strawberry Alarm Clock, Stone Temple Pilots off MTV., Blue Sky by the Allman Brothers, Mother Natures Son and Blackbird by your band the Beatles, Going to California with Robert Plant and Zeppelin, Long Time Gone, CSN, WHO, Going Mobile, Finishing with Indian Sunset, Elton.
