I love these Blues masters! I know some of you might not listen to this music often, and I don’t play it enough! The Roots! Of course, I started off with Hendrix; you have to play Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Allman Brothers, and a 15-year-old kid named Windwood, Plant, and Page! Yes! 3 hours of re-mastered songs from the huge book of Beatles Tunes! I usually don’t play a lot of their music because of their copyrights; even though I pay for the rights to re-broadcast from the nightly FM radio show on North Carolina Public Radio, the hoops you have to jump through with Apple Tunes and YouTube are idiotic, so I don’t usually waste my time. But after listening to some of my favorite songs, I thought, Why Not! The Hell with YouTube. So, here it is, 3 hours of group and solo material from the Fab Four.
The hardest part was trying to constructively put this much music in a semblance of order and trying to disperse the whole book without skipping a lot of great songs. I hope I played the tunes you enjoy as I love them all, especially Lennon’s Word Plays. Have fun and enjoy! This is some great music spanning generations.

Great set, in fact, the most listened-to episode in my decade with North Carolina Public Radio! I thought I would upgrade the EQ settings and let it roll. Starting with Yes, on to ELP & Greg Lake, Leslie West & Mountain, Canned Heat, Mike Pinera & Iron Butterfly, Edgar Broughton Band, Billy D & the Hoodoos, Toadies, Spooky Tooth, Rival Sons, Plant & Zeppelin, Wishbone Ash, Doors, Elvin Bishop, and to end the evening a long acoustic set from the Smashing Pumpkins. This is only a 2-hour show, as it was before I made the change to 3-hour sets, but it is Great! Tune In and Enjoy! I love it all over again!

We dig deeper into the Archives for some excellent music from the 70s, the bands not quite as well known but all of them wrote and produced excellent music. Just a 2 hour set but the re-mastered sound is excellent from some excellent groups. 3 Man Army, Flock, Josephus, Creepy John Thomas, Moxy, Squeeze, Trapeze, Flames, Band of Light, Stone the Crows, and for filler, Doors, Laura Cox, and the Robinson Brothers.
